No point in my giving either the men’s standings or the women’s standings since they are now up here and here. Looks like Armenia should get the Ukraine. Russia has already played China and they probably get Georgia (I’m told that teams are ranked for pairing purposes based on their tiebreaks), but it’s conceivable that the U.S. and Russia could play. More likely the U.S. plays Germany. At Bled they would be putting out the next day’s pairings about now but here there is no one in either the press room or the press center (not the same thing) who can answer such questions.
The women’s side is easier. Russia has to play China and the Ukraine has to play the U.S.A.
