I recently received the following email, which I think was originally intended to be a comment on one of my posts. Since I believe in open and public debate (and have no interest in private debate), I am (with the author’s permission) reposting it here. Needless to say, the views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of All Things Human. In fact, they definitely don’t. At some point, I will try to do a full rebuttal of her assertions. For the time being, let me make two points. First, her rant is a case of old wine in new bottles. This kind of anti-immigrant sentiment has been around from our country’s beginning (complete with conspiracy theories, now involving the Trilateral Commission and the New World Order, originally involving the freemasons and/or the Catholic Church). The Know-Nothings were wrong in the 1850s and their intellectual descendants are wrong today. Second, Doris accuses me of being “ALL for that illegal immigration.” In fact, I support a rational immigration policy that supports our national interests, our values and our history. This is not the same as supporting illegal immigration.

Dear Mr. Huntington:

I resigned from Immigration Naturalization Service in 1972 when I became aware of the “chain” immigration bill pushed through Senate by Ted Kennedy. I became aware of a LOT of things America was doing FOR aliens. I could NOT yell loud enough inside the agency so I left so I could voice my belief on so much immigration to this nation. I have been fighting illegal immigration and so much “legal” immigration since 1972. We need to lower the number of legal aliens coming to this country and stop them all for about 5 years for us to catch up on economics, schools, etc. One economic teacher from Florida says illegal aliens cost the American worker $133 BILLION a year and they send back that much money to their own nation and that is money we NEVER see again.

I get my information from quite a number of sources – not just one. California Coalition for Immigration Reform, Center for Immigration Studies, Project USA, Center for American Unity, The American Cause, Terry Anderson’s Radio Show Michelle Malkin, Dr. Michael Savage, The Social Contract, Chronicles Magazine, Hire American Citizens, Ranch Rescue, Stop Immigration NOW, The Drudge Report, The Stein Report, American Patrol Report, Border Patrol, and others. NumbersUSA reported in 2004, that California’s ILLEGAL immigrant population was costing the State’s taxpayers more than $10.5 BILLION per year for EDUCATION, medical care and incarceration. – not counting what they get in food stamps and reduced housing, VDARE, Frosty Wooldridge, Time Magazine, Sept 20,2004 published “America’s Broken Borders, Americans Against Illegal Immigration, English Only, Devvy Kidd, CNS News, FAIR, Dr. Madeleine Cosman, Medical Law, Center for Immigration Studies, Richard D. Lamm, former governor,
Center for the Study of Popular Culture, Center for Disease Control, Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, FIRE Coalition, Lou Dobbs, William F. Jasper (Abolishing the USA), Rescue American Jobs, Lots of Crime Reports by ILLEGAL ALIENS by NewsMax, And Associated Press, Eagle Forum, Peter A Brown did a study and wrote what immigration is costing Texas, “A study by the US Mexico Border Counties Coalition reports that $108 million is spent every year. Harris country illegal aliens account for 23% of the patients, costing $330 million over the last three years. Education for illegal school-age children costs Texas $1.03 million annually, Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO), American Lawyers for Immigration law Enforcement.

what is going on. When 911 happened, the government was PAYING ARABS to come to this country. I KNOW that for a fact but did they advertise to the citizens what they were doing? NO! I found out many things they were DOING for aliens, in many cases giving them $500.00 a month to come over here and setting some of them up in business. The government has been pushing The New World Order for many years and The Trilateral Commission, The CFR, Bilderberg Group, The Skull and Bones, The Boheimen Group are all driving the politics of this nation and they WANT OPEN borders. the government is NOT going to PUBLISH what they are costing the tax-payer or they know they would have a riot on their hands. AMERICANS MUST WAKE up and get active in stopping all this immgiration and NO MORE AMNESTY for they are here and boldly say they are here to take back all the States we won in the Mexican/American war. If ANYONE watched their marching, and had a BRAIN in their head, they would KNOW they are militant and another nation is building within our own nation and “A nation DIVIDED CANNOT stand.”.

As stated, I have been at war with this mess since 1972. I get so disgusted, I could throw up my hands and QUIT but I LOVE my country and guess I will go down FIGHTING for what I believe is RIGHT for my nation. We also need to STOP taking in so many on H-1B and H-2B and L-1 visa programs for they are taking American jobs. My daughter is a system engineer and had been with a company for 18 years and they downsized – took in foreigners, and she was laid off her job. It is NOT right!

P.S. Another thing, Mr. Huntington, you cannot put ANY confidence in MOST news reports for they have SOLD out to Communism, Socialism and Marxism. Have you ever seen the 45 Long Term Communist Goals for America which was filed in our Congressional REcords in 1963? If not, I would like for you to read them and see for yourself just how many of them have been fulfilled.

You may want to read this. You seem to be ALL for that illegal immigration and I hope you change you mind. Doris
